The subject of the modifying phrase is indicated by が.

  

·         それは ジョン・ ブラウンが  英語に 訳した 本です。

That is the book which was translated into English by John Brown.

 

Examples:
クラークさんが うちへ かえる 時間は 7時です。	-	The time that Mr Clark goes home is 7 o clock.
これは リーさんが京都で とった しゃしんです。	-	This is the picture that Miss Lee took in Kyoto.
